For many families, dreams of travelling the world are often at odds with the need for a stable education. With plans to build a new home in Mexico and aspirations of travelling back and forth from the US, mum Sharmila found herself in the same predicament.

Thankfully, with online learning, there was no need to sacrifice either. We caught up with Sharmila to find out more about how King’s InterHigh offers her children, Corina and Dante, a passport to a world of travel, opportunity, and educational success.

The Larg family

The Larg family live an adventurous, nomadic lifestyle driven by their love of surfing, often travelling the world for competitions with no fixed routine. King’s InterHigh has given their children the flexibility to learn from anywhere, supporting Ben’s sporting dreams and helping Lilly thrive with tailored support for her dyslexia.

Berik

Berik may only be in Year 7, but his life has already been filled with travels across Asia and Europe and numerous unique hobbies — from cooking to poultry incubation! Learning was another of Berik’s passions in his early years, but when his family settled back in the US, school became a challenge.

Now based in Missouri, Berik has thrived in his first year at King’s InterHigh.

The Kanagasabai family

Mrs Kanagasabai has lived in Indonesia since 2020, after moving from Malaysia. As the Covid-19 pandemic began forcing physical schools to move online, she decided to look around for online schools to send her sons to. She was impressed with King’s InterHigh’s syllabus and history. Since joining us, Mrs Kanagasabai has noticed her two sons become independent learners. She credits King’s InterHigh for this. “They don’t depend on my help,” she says. “They can research by themselves and present what they’ve learned directly to their teachers.”

Reyan

Originally from Singapore, Reyan's family spends their time living and learning around the globe. Reyan and his brother joined King's InterHigh so they could continue to explore new cultures around the world while still getting a consistent, high-quality education.
