2025 IB Diploma results: Celebrating our students’ successes

Of course, there’s much more to celebrate than numbers alone. During their time with us, every one of our learners has paved their own unique pathway and grown in new ways. From our champion athletes to our confidence builders, each King’s InterHigh IB student this year is a testament to what young people can achieve with education that supports their needs, uplifts their strengths, and helps them on their way to their dreams.

In celebration of this year’s IB Diploma results day, let’s take a look at a handful of the amazing journeys and successes from our Class of 2025.

Varun

Congratulations to Varun on achieving 41 points in his IB Diploma!

When Varun had to move from Switzerland back to India with his family, he faced a challenging dilemma: how would he complete his IB Diploma, especially alongside his intensive travel and training demands? With online learning, Varun hasn’t had to compromise at all. This year, he’s been able to balance his schedule to accommodate tournaments and training, all without missing a beat academically. Varun also credits his “incredibly supportive” teachers at King’s InterHigh for his success.

We wish Varun all the best in his next steps: joining the prestigious Ivy League university Yale as a student athlete, where he plans to study mathematics, economics, and chemistry.

Charlotte

Congratulations to Charlotte on achieving 38 points in her IB Diploma!

Growing up across small island communities like Bali and Mauritius, Charlotte has always had a deep passion for ocean conservation and scuba diving. While she was originally worried about how she’d balance her interests with the workload of the IB Diploma, Charlotte soon discovered that online learning gave her the power to shape her own schedule and free up precious hours to pursue the work that drives her.

We wish Charlotte all the best in her next steps: pursuing an exciting degree in marine biology at the University of California, Santa Cruz!

Maria

Congratulations to Maria on achieving 41 points in her IB Diploma!

Ecuadorian-Canadian student Maria, who has called England her home for the past seven years, first joined King’s InterHigh during the pandemic. Over the years, the flexibility of online learning has given her the freedom to pursue a huge range of passions, from film to literature to history. With more freedom between classes, Maria also says the time she’s spent in the real world with her family, on travels, and on physical activity has greatly enriched her learning.

We wish Maria all the best in her next steps: studying anthropology and psychology, after which she hopes to go into research!

Zafiris

Congratulations to Zafiris on achieving 35 points in his IB Diploma!

At just 17, determined young Zafiris made the bold decision to move away from his home and family to join a professional football academy in Madrid. That’s when he decided to join us at King’s InterHigh. In the past, his rigorous training schedule meant he couldn’t fully take part in his education. Now, he’s been able to achieve a great season in football alongside his IB Diploma studies, catching up between coursework during training sessions.

We wish Zafiris all the best in his next steps: studying a degree in sports science at the University of Central Lancashire, Cyprus!

Anastasia

Congratulations to Anastasia on achieving 36 points in her IB Diploma!

Over her four years spent studying with us, Anastasia has discovered a true love for flexibility. With a passion for travelling and meeting new people, she already has ambitions to work for herself one day and craft her perfect lifestyle. That flexibility is one of the things she loved most about King’s InterHigh, where she says “anyone can achieve well if they’re motivated.”

Natalie

Congratulations to Natalie on achieving 35 points in her IB Diploma!

American student Natalie has lived all over the world, from the US to Ethiopia, so she’s no stranger to finding her place in a new environment. Here at King’s InterHigh, she found her sense of belonging in her online community, making “amazing friends” and connecting with her teachers. Natalie loves art, reading, and exploring the outdoors—passions we know she’ll one day use to help the world.

We wish Natalie all the best in her next steps: starting her higher education studies at Hope College in Michigan, where she hopes to focus her time on environmental studies or psychology.
